"The Verdict" is an unreleased song from the Dangerous album.

The song was first recorded in 1990 under the title Verdict. The track is an instrumental, and probably MJ just messing around in the studio. It was considered for inclusion on the final track list for the album, although it didn't make the cut. It was picked up again for HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I but was again scrapped.

The 1994 incarnation of the song was leaked online on January 27, 2023 after Brad Sundberg's laptop was stolen.

"Chicago 1945" (reworked as "Chicago Night") is a unreleased song by Michael Jackson scrapped from his albums Bad and Invincible. The story of the track seems to change. "Someone Put Your Hand Out" is a song by Michael Jackson, released as a single in to promote the European leg of the Dangerous World Tour. The song was first written, co-produced with Quincy Jones and recorded in 1987 for the Bad album. It was completely re-written and re-recorded in 1990 for Dangerous, although it didn't make the cut. It was reworked for the last time in April of 1992, to be released as a promotional single a month later. On July 11, 2020, the 1987 demo was leaked as a low quality recording from Brad Sundberg's seminars. On January 27, 2023, the same version was leaked in HQ after Brad's laptop was stolen. According to Shana Mangatal, the song was written originally for the end credits in the Addams Family Values movie in 1993, although it was recorded in 1999 for Invincible. "We Be Ballin'" is an unreleased remix of We Be Clubbin by Ice Cube. It features Michael Jackson and Shaquille O'Neal. The remix was recorded in 1998 for a scrapped compilation album set to be released by NBA in the same year. The entire project was scrapped due to a strike against them. "Throwing Your Life Away" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson. The song was recorded on September 8, 1988, while MJ was touring. It was produced while still working with Quincy Jones. The track was reworked in 2009, with the CD appearing in court documents of Jeffre Phillips' lawsuit. The title was later featured on a note with titles of songs he wanted to finish, found in Jackson's house after his passing. It was picked up to be reworked for Jackson's first posthumous studio album, Michael, with the title being changed to "(Stop) Throwing Your Life Away", which was registered with U.S. Copyright Office. The remix was done by Neff-U and Michael Prince. Damien Shields: "The original 1988 Throwing Your Life Away is much stronger. Neff-U did the 2010 remix, but he didn’t have access to a multi-track. He added new strings and guitar on top of the 88 original. Those new layers drowned MJ’s vocal out, so the remix is far less powerful, in my opinion....

"Dream Away" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson scrapped from his studio album Bad. The song was written and recorded in December, 1982, a week after Thriller was released. The song is co-produced with Steve Porcaro, who previously made Human Nature, with which Dream Away shares many similarities. "Get Your Weight Off Of Me" aka "Can't Get Your Weight Off Of Me" Get Your Weight Off Of Me (alternatively titled Can't Get Your Weight Off Of Me) is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson, scrapped from his tenth studio album Invincible. "Work That Body" is an unreleased song from the Dangerous album. It was co-written and co-produced with Bryan Loren and recorded in 1989 for Dangerous, although it didn't make the cut. The song samples ABC by The Jackson 5 for its bridge. On December 5, 2007, the song was leaked online.
