We Be Ballin'

"We Be Ballin'" is an unreleased remix of We Be Clubbin by Ice Cube.

It features Michael Jackson and Shaquille O'Neal.

The remix was recorded in 1998 for a scrapped compilation album set to be released by NBA in the same year. The entire project was scrapped due to a strike against them.

The "Master Mix" and "Street Mix" leaked online on June 21, 2008.

The demo leaked a year later on April 30, 2009. This version features a different vocal take by Michael.

I love this game, yeah
Haha, haha, haha!
Yeah!

We be balling
Everybody likes sort of plays we calling
Your team falling
We ain't stalling
We just slamming and jamming
Like it ain't nothing wrong

(Booya!) It's back
The NBA's where it's at
We the max
VIP's, watching Shaq stacking up the numbers
Back in the promise stunnah
You ought a check him smarter or a little harder
Now we can fall on land, air and water
Catch a dollar chain harder then you think she ought a
You have to order the smarter
Any team like that
Jordan me and Shaq
A dream team pack
Watch my man Allen and I, take it to the rim!
Two minutes left and we winning by ten
We proudly win, we all --?-- up
(Boo!) You in my house, you get no love

We be balling
Everybody likes sort of plays we calling
Your team falling
We ain't stalling
We just slamming and jamming
Like it ain't nothing wrong
(Bring it) Get your ball on!

Nothing you can say, nothing you can do
We be balling you, we be balling you
No one to defeat, you'll see what we can do
We be balling you, we be balling you

Baby like Rolls Royce
Rashaun for short
Keep my flow
Like low punks
Nice and swift
Priceless gift
The part of we hitting
Bigger your bruise
Better field no excuses
Say play at you lose
Pay my dues
Ice Cube is with me
We quite nifty
Ballers making history
By being quick as 50
You ballers, with daisy champ baby
What's your thing
They don't go whoever, whenever
Emitten' angst (Yeah, Yeah!)

I been balling
Shaq calling
There's another game played
LIVE 98' for the fame
Ice Cube, do these kids wanna be him
They die and trade for, --?--- Colosseum
We ain't bet you, kill balling
Forward thrust, crossover left-right
Carved in the dust (What!)
Haha, haha, What! (What!)

We be balling
Everybody likes sort of plays we calling
Your team falling
We ain't stalling
We just slamming and jamming
Like it ain't nothing wrong
Get your ball on!

Nothing you can say, nothing you can do
We be balling you, we be balling you
No one to defeat, you'll see what we can do
We be balling you, we be balling you

I'm MVP,
So what's up now?
The number two team
Just touchdown
Watch me as I can
I put myself over to the floor
And not going in for the score
It's pulling off my flow
They start to push and shove
The skills us possess
Must come from up above
Look, for everybody waiting on us
And scrub, for everybody hating on us
Their waiting on us
A day only visiting
And their trying to come to my house, and when
I see you watching me, but I'm the flybird
And I can take you to the home, like the doctor (Watch)

As I see her getting home
Does she know
That I'm a superstar?
Don't they know who we are
We going all the way baby
We going win this war

Nothing you can say, nothing you can do
We be balling you, we be balling you
No one to defeat, you'll see what we can do
We be balling you, we be balling you

So hard to defeat, we love just to compete
We be balling you, we be balling you
Hate to make you plead, we'll bring you to your knees
We be balling you, we be balling you

Shake them off, shake them off, take them off
For the real, for the real, we rock them in
Shake them off, shake them off, take them off
For the real, for the real, we rock them in

We be balling, we be balling
We be balling, we be balling
We be balling, we be Balling
We be balling

Shout

"Shout" is a song by Michael Jackson released as a b-side to the Cry single. The song was co-written with Teddy Riley (who also produced the track), Claues Forbes, Roy Hamilton, Samuel Hoskins and Carmen Lampson.  It was going to be on Invincible, although in the last few weeks of recording the album, MJ wrote You Are My Life and wanted the song to be on it, and thus Shout was replaced. It is one of Jackson's only songs where he raps throughout the track.   This is not your ordinary record Record, Re-re-record, re-re-re-cor-cor-cord (Hit it!) Ignorance of people purchasing diamonds and necklaces And barely able to keep the payments up on their lessons And enrolled in a class and don't know who the professor is How low people go for the dough and make a mess of things? Kids are murdering other kids for the fun of it Instead of using their mind or their fist, they put a gun in it Wanna be a part of a clique, don't know who's runnin' it Tragedy on top of trag...

Dream Away

"Dream Away" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson scrapped from his studio album Bad. The song was written and recorded in December, 1982, a week after Thriller was released. The song is co-produced with Steve Porcaro, who previously made Human Nature, with which Dream Away shares many similarities. Similarly to Chicago 1945, Porcaro was asked about including the song on Xscape, although he didn't approve it as he doesn't support the estate's "straight to remix" approach. On November 15th 2022, a low quality recording of the song from Steve Porcaro's seminars leaked online. We could sail away our dreams to our Never Neverland We could kiss the world and wish upon a distant star I could say the future, hope for us has different promises And the answers lie deep inside your lovely eyes I could look inside your mind and tell that you’re far away Don’t say a word, just let me whisper inside your ear I could see that you are trying hard to be my frien...

Chicago 1945 aka Chicago Night

"Chicago 1945" (reworked as "Chicago Night") is a unreleased song by Michael Jackson scrapped from his albums Bad and Invincible.  The story of the track seems to change. Most recent one given by Steve Porcaro is that it was recorded a week after Thriller released (December 1982). However, he said the exact same about Dream Away, and previously stated Chicago 1945 is from 1984, sometime before the Victory tour. To recap, the actual creation date is currently unknown. Steve Porcaro on Toto's site years ago: "Years ago, Michael and I wrote a song called Chicago 1945 – I did the music and Michael the lyrics, he recorded the song twice, but never put it on an album… the instruments were played in a constant rhythm in the 16th note, which was called ‘yada’. When I explained this to Michael, he liked it so much he gave me that nickname!". Porcaro was approached by the estate about using it on Xscape, but didn't give them the permission, as he thought the...

Described as "a song of the deaf". On March 5, 2014, the song was leaked online. I sing of what you see and might think about Because of what you see Moving hands, mobile faces Where by the eye Not the ear traces what's on the mind So when you see hands Weaving the space between friends Think of them as being As though you were seeing voices Speech without sound face to face, hands unbound Weaving the space between friends So, think of them as being As though you were seeing voices Believe it they ramble on exactly as we would And talking with someone we know And even they stumble on expressions as we would And talking with anyone So.. When you see hands weaving The space between friends Think of...

The song first leaked in 2020 as a low quality recording from Brad Sundberg's seminars. On January 27, 2023, the same version was leaked in HQ after Brad's laptop was stolen. These are the worst of times And these are the best of times Racism, bigotry, ethnocentrism, prejudice, hatred and violence are breaking the heart of our planet and strangling it’s soul And yet, we are coming alive As never before Nelson Mandela: a black man A former symbol of subjugation and slavery, guides South Africa Democracy and freedom flourish as never before And a new consciousness proclaims the dawn of the...
