Fall Again

"Fall Again" is a previously unreleased song by Michael Jackson, released as the 50th track on The Ultimate Collection.

The song was co-written with Walter Afanasieff and Robin Thicke (who also provides backing vocals) and recorded in 1999 for the Invincible.

Afanasieff confirmed in January, 2000: "We worked to the point that we were three-fourths of the way finished, then the incident happened when his son got very sick. We’re going to have to reserve a little spot to finish the song." The song got scrapped from the album and landed on the soundtrack to a 2002 movie starring Jennifer Lopez, Maid In Manhattan, sang by Glenn Lewis.

In 2019, footage of the writing session for the song leaked featuring MJ and Afanaiseff.

The song was finally released in 2004 as part of The Ultimate Collection.

"Dream Away" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson scrapped from his studio album Bad. The song was written and recorded in December, 1982, a week after Thriller was released. The song is co-produced with Steve Porcaro, who previously made Human Nature, with which Dream Away shares many similarities. Similarly to Chicago 1945, Porcaro was asked about including the song on Xscape, although he didn't approve it as he doesn't support the estate's "straight to remix" approach. On November 15th 2022, a low quality recording of the song from Steve Porcaro's seminars leaked online. The song was written and recorded in 1998 for Invincible, although it didn't make the cut.
